Rosa Jimenez de Sandoval, 58, of Perryton, died December 21, 2017 in Amarillo. Rosary will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 24, 2017, at Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel, and funeral mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canadian, with Rev. Yanamala Anthony Raju, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian. Mrs. Sandoval was born November 30, 1959 in San Luis del Cordero, DGO, Mexico to Gonzalo Jimenez and Paula Renteria. She was the youngest of 13 children. Rosa moved to Canadian at the age of 18, working at the Canadian Laundry for a number of years. She moved to Perryton in 1987 and owned El Ranchito Restaurant where she loved to cook. Rosa liked to dance, loved the Lottery, and was “very” lucky. She was a member and attended the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include a daughter, Annette Sandoval of Amarillo; a son, Daniel Sandoval of Perryton; two grandsons, Daniel Sandoval and Victor Sandoval; two sisters, Paula Franco and husband Abundio and Linda Flores and husband Bobby, all of Canadian; three brothers, Fermin Jimenez of Mexico, Crescencia Jimenez of California, and Onesimo Jimenez of Canadian; and several nieces and nephews.
