Patricia Kay Andrews, 69, of Canadian, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2022 in Plainview.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Matt Cook, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Patricia was born August 18, 1953 in Ft. Hood, Texas to James and Lou Bishop. She attended schools in Guymon, Oklahoma. On June 4, 1971 she married the love of her life, Tommy Andrew in Guymon. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2008 after celebrating 36 years of marriage. Patricia and Tommy moved to Canadian in the late 70’s. She worked at Hemphill County Hospital for over 30 years before she retired in 2009. After she retired, she moved around a bit, but found herself back in Canadian helping take care of her parents. Patricia had a lot of friends and she love spending time with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Judy Bishop; and two nephews, Taylon Stafford and Heath Bishop.
Survivors include her daughter, Casey Spruell and husband Jeff of Amarillo; her parents, James and Lou Bishop of Canadian; two grandchildren, Taran Spruell and Brysan Spruell both of Amarillo; three brothers, Mike Bishop of Canyon, Donald Bishop and life partner Greg Hunter of Dallas, and Glenn Bishop of Canadian; and a sister, Jamie Jernigan and husband Mikey of Canadian.
