Mary Jane Macias

Jane Macias, 98 of Perryton, joined her beloved Heavenly family and friends on November 21, 2019. 

Rosary service be 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Carmichael-Whatley Canadian Chapel.

Mass will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 25, 2019 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jojireddy Konkala, pastor, officiating.  Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

The eighth of fifteen children, Jane made many longtime friends.  She had a passion for quilting and teaching others to quilt.  She sold many of her quilts but took the most pride in giving them as gifts.  Jane will be remembered for her annual Christmas party for her friends.  Family was very important to Jane, second only to her strong faith.  She was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Perryton.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Pablo “Pete” & Juventina Macias; siblings, Sostenes “Oscar” Macias, Alvina Renozo, Canuto “Nute” Macias, Arnulfo “A.R.” Macias, Cesaria “Sara” Macias, Pedrito Macias, Maria “Mary” Ortega, Raquel “Ruth” Rodriquez, Isabel “Bill” Macias and Macario “Mack" Macias.

Survivors include two brothers, Alego “Alex” Macias of Guymon, OK, and Justo Macias of Canadian; a sister, Bavlia “Eblan” Hernandez of Houston and many nieces and nephews.  

Memorials may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1000 SW 15th Avenue, Perryton, TX 79070 and the Humane Society.
