Diane was not only a homemaker, but a farmer and rancher’s wife. She was an integral part of the family operation. Diane was a hard worker and helped where she was needed whether it be sorting cattle, helping ship cattle, driving the bob tail truck full of hay, or cooking meals. She was always ready to cook and provide a meal for whoever showed up at the house. It may be family, hired help, salesmen, or friends, Diane always had a delicious meal ready. Her small kitchen always had a full pitcher of sweet tea and cookies ready for the taking.

Diane was a quiet person and always stood her ground. Her sense of humor would leave you with a smile. Diane never showed favoritism to her family, she made everyone feel they were the favorite though. She loved big and it showed to her family.

Diane was a master seamstress. She enjoyed cross stitching, quilting, making clothes, and making dolls. She would send some of her dolls off through missions to children in need across the world. It was always a special time when she would receive a picture of one of the children who received one of her special dolls. Diane was a longtime member of First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Fox; and a brother, Charles Adams.
