Jeff Ervin Cullender, 66, of Canadian passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, in Canadian.
Family and friend visitation will be 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Saturday, December 10, 2022, at the Canadian First Presbyterian Church. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Jeff Ervin Cullender was born April 10, 1956, in Canyon to Joseph & Barbara Cullender. The family moved to Canadian when Jeff was three, he attended Canadian schools and graduated with the class of 1974. Jeff’s higher education time was spent at the University of Texas, Mississippi State and West Texas University. He married JJ Johnson on November 6, 1993, in Garland. They returned to Canadian to raise their daughter, Patricia Jane. Jeff worked construction with brother-in-law Steve Johnson and later started 2G Oilfield Services with Ray Hastings. Jeff enjoyed baseball, Wildcat Football and playing golf with his close group of golfing friends. He loved his family and his pups.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Barbara, a sister, Carol Blair, an uncle, Meade Michael and Father-in-Law, Smiley Johnson.
Survivors include wife, JJ Cullender; daughter, PJ Jones and husband Garrison, and their daughters, Addie & Erin Jones all of Canadian; son, Joey Cullender of Round Rock; daughter, Betsy Reynolds of Panhandle; brother, Mike Cullender and wife Linda of Dripping Springs; sister, Cristy Daniell and husband Jeff of Florence; brother-in-law, Jerry Blair of Brownfield; nephews & nieces, Jay and Doka Cullender, Lesli and Chris Kerth, Julie and Kiley Bennett, Lindsay Daniell, Melanie and Matt Bowling, Amber and Gabe Brack, Pam and Juan Guillen, Austin and Darci Johnson, Lacey Henderson, Ashley and Brent Archer, Jet and Allison Johnson, Erica and Chase Smyth, Emma and Sam James, Brock and Brittanie Johnson, Mae and JJ Lillibridge; Aunt, Sandra “Sassy” Swafford; Mother-in-Law, Jane Johnson, Brothers-in-Law, Steve and Lisa Johnson, Eddie and Renee Johnson, Bruce and Lori Johnson, Harper and Cindy Johnson; many other family members; best friend, Ray Hastings and a good group of golf buddies.
