Frankie Helton

Frankie Helton, 84, of Canadian, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022, in Canadian.

A private family service will be held. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.

Frankie Allen Fuller Helton was born April 28, 1938, in Canadian to Hulin Fuller and Alice Caldwell Fuller.  She married Gene Helton on July 2, 1955, in Canadian, he preceded her in death on June 2, 1999.  Frankie was a member of the First Baptist Church.  She enjoyed puzzle books and making candy. Frankie loved her family, showing her love and care by the many ways she cared for them. 

Frankie was also preceded in death by her parents, Hulin & Alice Fuller; a sister, Jimmy Rutherford; and a son, Michael Helton.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Peggy Helton, and Joe Sanders, both of Canadian; 4 grandsons, Toby Gilmer, Jimmy Gilmer, Wayne Sanders, and Mathew Sanders; 1 granddaughter, Amy Helton; a sister, Bobby Wohlford; and a brother, William “Bill” Fuller.
