Caroline Ruth Shaw

Caroline Ruth Shaw, 68, of Canadian, passed away on March 23, 2025, in Canadian, Texas.

Memorial Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 4, 2025 at Edith Ford Cemetery with Rev. Barry Hosford, pastor of Abundant Life Assembly of God Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors and Crematory.

Caroline was born on December 19, 1957, in Marlin, Texas, to Gervin and Jerrie Webb. Caroline graduated from Marlin High School and eventually moved to Bryan, Texas. She was a homemaker who adored her son and grandchildren. She was a very driven and hardworking woman who worked various jobs to provide for her family. In her free time, she enjoyed playing lots of cards with friends.

In her later years, she moved to Canadian to be near her sister who she loved dearly. Caroline will be remembered for her kind and loving spirit, as well as her chicken themed trinkets.

Caroline was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Waterfield, and Sue Antrobus; and a brother, Gary “Bubba” Webb.

Surviving relatives include a son, John Huff of Reno, Texas; two grandsons, Landon and Logan Huff; granddaughter, Olivia Huff, and a great grandson, Braydon Milan Gonzalez Huff.
