Brandon was born July 17, 1983 in Lubbock to Mark and Jo Stroebel. He graduated from Dumas High School in 2001 and went on to play baseball at WTAMU for 1 year. Brandon transferred to Texas Tech University for his second year before taking some time off to work in the Oilfield. He later returned to WTAMU to finish his Bachelor of Science degree. Brandon moved to Dumas where he was a coach and a teacher for 4 years at Dumas ISD. Still not content with his career choice, he took a job with BP in Sayre, Oklahoma for 2 years and then transferring to Canadian. Over the following years, Brandon worked for Apache, Four Point Energy, and currently Maverick Natural Resources.

On June 7, 2013, he married the love of his life, Kaysha Proffitt in the Dominican Republic. They have made Canadian their home and have two beautiful children. He loved his family and friends. Brandon never met a stranger during his life. He made lifelong friendships that were truly bonded from the time he met you. His friends became his family, and he cherished each one. Brandon loved to fish, hunt, golf, and occasionally competitive cooking. He always looked forward to the yearly Stroebel reunion in Red River with all of his family. His best days would be spending time and hanging out with his family, especially his children, and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Andrew Stroebel; grandparents, Andrew and Catherine Stroebel, H D and Pat Proffitt, Lee and Janice Lovelady, and Paul Adair; uncles, Vance Stroebel and Bob Adair; and a cousin, Aarika Stroebel.
