Bobbie Jo Ramp, 70 of Canadian, passed away July 3, 2020 in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the Canadian First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lewis Holland, and Rev. David Gerhardt, officiating.
A private family graveside service will be held at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Canadian.
Bobbie Jo Bunch Ramp was born October 4, 1949 in Premont to Joe Bob & Neva Bunch. She moved to Canadian from Mission and graduated from Canadian High School. Bobbie Jo married Jim Ramp on March 2, 1969. She was Jim’s partner in life and The Canadian Pharmacy. Bobbie Jo left a legacy of service for her church and community. She served as treasurer for the American Cancer Society for 30 years. At the Methodist church, Bobbie Jo was quick to serve on committees as needed, youth activities, 5th quarter gatherings following football games and spent long hours in the church kitchen. She was an active PEO member, fixed hair at the Abraham Memorial Home and delivered Meals on Wheels. Bobbie Jo loved to play bridge, read, garden, cross stitch and go to the lake with family. Her priority was being a devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Jake and Sarah Ramp and brother-in-law John Ramp.
Survivors include husband, Jim Ramp of Canadian; 3 children, Cindy Wheeler and husband Greg of Hereford, Vicki Jo Hodnett and husband Chad of Amarillo, and Jake William Ramp of Canadian; Grandson, Morgan Wyatt Hodnett; Brother, Brad Bunch and wife Donna of Shattuck; Mother-in-Law, Harriett Ramp Rogers; Sister-in-Law, A’louise Ramp; Aunt, Pat Popham and nieces, Susan & Beth.
