Mike Satterwhite

Graveside services for Mike Satterwhite, 42, of Ravia, OK, will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Higgins Cemetery with Gordon Lawson, officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Satterwhite passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in Ravia, Oklahoma. Mike was born on May 24, 1964 in Canadian, TX to Mr. Don Satterwhite and Mrs. Tex Carr Satterwhite. He was a 1982 graduate of Arnett High School. He moved to Ravia, OK in 2004 from Higgins, TX. Mike worked as a farmer and ranch hand. He loved farming and ranching and was an avid collector of Die Cast Tractors and equipment. In fact, he began driving tractors at age seven. Mike was a member of the Church of Christ in Higgins, TX, where he was baptized on November 7, 1976. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carl and Madeline Satterwhite and grandfather, Elbie C. Carr. He is survived by his parents, Don & Tex Satterwhite of Higgins, TX; one grandmother, Evelyn Carr Dickinson of Canadian, TX; one sister Donna Stubblefield & husband Randy of Pampa, TX; one nephew, Ty Stutublefield of Pampa, TX; two nieces, Mandy Cross of Pampa, TX and Shelly Bragg of McKinney, TX and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family suggest memorials be made to West View Boys Home, P.O. Box 553, Hollis, OK 73550-0553 or a favorite charity.
