Services for David Maxwell, 48, of Canadian, Texas, will be at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, February 18, 2007 at the Central Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Timmons, officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery in Perryton, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, Texas. Mr. Maxwell passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 in Canadian, Texas. David was born on October 26, 1958 in Perryton, TX to Mrs. Kayleen Patterson Dunn and the late Mr. John W. Dunn. He attended schools in Perryton, TX and Clarendon, TX. He moved to Canadian, TX in 1994 from Andrews, TX. David married Karren McNair on January 1, 2001 at Central Baptist Church in Canadian, TX. He worked as an oil field consultant for Plaster & Wald. David was a member of Central Baptist Church, and he loved helping with the Boy Scout Camp in Wheeler, TX. He was preceded in death by one sister, Judy Ferguson Jones. David is survived by his wife, Karren Maxwell of Canadian, TX; two sons, Blaine and Braden Maxwell of Canadian, TX; two step children, Alan Gill and Matthew Gill both of Canadian, TX; mother, Kayleen Dunn of Pampa, TX; four sisters, Rhonda Watts and husband Orval of Pampa, TX; Jonni Morris of Seven Points, TX; JoAnne Patton of Lovington, NM; Dolly Hinshaw and husband Dennis of Midland, TX; uncles and aunts, Keith and Sandy Patterson of Miami, TX; Doc and Jan Rinker of Westfork, AR; father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Cody McNair of Bartlesville, OK and many cousins including Mark Patterson, whom he thought of as a brother.
