David A. "Dave" Kelln

Graveside services for David A. “Dave” Kelln, 92, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Higgins Cemetery in Higgins, TX with Rev. Nancy Moore officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Kelln passed away on Friday, December 15, 2006 in Canadian, Texas. He was born on September 24, 1914 in the Locust Grove Community north of Canadian to the late Mr. John Kelln and Mrs. Mollie Laubhan Kelln. He was a lifetime farmer, rancher and cattleman of Lipscomb, Hemphill and Ochiltree counties and served two years in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife of Canadian; three children, David Frank Kelln and wife Elsie of Canadian, TX; Mary Laubhan and husband Gary of Lipscomb, TX; and Michael A. Kelln of Higgins, TX; one granddaughter, Joey and husband Steve; and two great grandsons, Nathan and Logan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 S. 4th, Canadian, TX 79014.
