Graveside services for Mr. J.B. Yates, 95, of Memphis, TX will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley, TX with Rev. Robert G. Blum, officiating. Burial will follow in Rowe Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, TX. Mr. Yates passed away Friday, June 4, 2010 in Clarendon, TX. He was born November 19, 1914 in Honey Grove, TX to the late Mr. James Yates and Mrs. Ida Lee Yates. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. He worked for Moffitt Hardware in Hedley, TX. He then went to work for GTE in Memphis, TX until retiring. He is survived by three nephews, Don Yates of Arlington, TX; Darrell Yates of Wichita Falls , TX; Dwight Yates of Skiatook, OK; his sister-in-law, Hazel Aldridge of Wichita Falls, TX.
