Services for Rhonda Barnett, 51, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Church of Christ with Tom Anderson, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Mrs. Barnett passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010 in Childress, TX. Rhonda was born February 5, 1959 in Memphis, TX to Mr. Lee Waddill and Mrs. Bettie (Hawthorne) Waddill. She was a 1977 graduate of Memphis High School. She married Jerry Barnett on August 13, 1983 in Memphis, TX. Rhonda worked as an insurance salesman and was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Barnett of Memphis, TX; two sons, Chris Lockhart and wife Michelle of Memphis, TX; Cory Lockhart of Mansfield, TX; her parents, Lee and Bettie Waddill of Memphis, TX; one sister, Jackie Casas and husband Junior of Memphis, TX; four grandchildren, Alyssa Flores, Victoria Lopez, Katelyn Mills and Christian Lockhart; her mother-in-law, Kathy Watson of Memphis, TX; her father-in-law, Pee Wee Barnett of Memphis, TX and four nephews. The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Road, Suite 12-A, Lubbock, TX 79424.
