Eddie Huddleston

Services for Mr. Eddie Huddleston, 67, of Memphis, TX, will be at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Downey, officiating and C.W. Parker, Chaplain of Odyssey HealthCare assisting. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Mr. Huddleston passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 in Memphis, TX. Eddie was born May 9, 1942 in Childress, TX to Mrs. Georgia (Hammonds) Huddleston and the late Mr. E.J. Huddleston. He was a 1960 graduate of Childress High School. He married Linda Bowman on June 21, 1964 in Reno, NV. They moved to Hall County, TX in 1973 from Austin, TX. Eddie worked in the insurance business for 46 years. He was past president of the Memphis Little League and served on the Hall County Hospital Board and Memphis Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church and Memphis Lions Club. He was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Devoll. He is survived by his wife, Linda Huddleston of Memphis, TX; his son, Kevin Huddleston of Memphis, TX; his daughter, Kristi Johnson of Amarillo, TX; his mother, Georgia Huddleston of Memphis, TX; his brother, Jerry Huddleston and wife Judy of San Antonio, TX; five grandchildren, Katee, Kooper and Tori Huddleston and Brandon and Tanner Johnson.
