Elizabeth (Sweetie) Crow Wills

Graveside services for Elizabeth (Sweetie) Crow Wills, 83, of Hereford, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX. Inurnment will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mrs. Wills passed away Monday, March 1, 2010 in Amarillo, TX. She was born December 12, 1926 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. William Crow and Carmen (Dickenson) Crow. She was a 1944 graduate of Canadian High School. She graduated from Texas State College for Women and later received a Master of Arts degree from West Texas State University in Canyon, TX. She taught school at Creighton, NE; Lovington, NM; White Deer, TX; Amarillo, TX; and Hereford, TX. She has been a resident of Hereford for the past 30 years. She was a member of Texas State Teachers Association. She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Dickinson and William Randolph Crow and one sister, Frances Katherine Kovacic. She is survived by her nephew, William E. Kovacic of Clifton, VA; her niece, Mary Ippolito of Carbondale, PA.
