Fannye Bussell George

Services for Mrs. Fannye Bussell George, 83, of Canadian, TX, will be at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church with Pastor Willie George, officiating and Pastor John George and Rev. Danny Sanders, assisting. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mrs. George passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 in Canadian, TX. Fannye was born April 8, 1926 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Wright Bussell and Mrs. Vera (King) Bussell. She was a 1943 graduate of Canadian High School. She married R.E. George on September 21, 1944 in Arnett, OK. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2008. Fannye worked for the ASCS office as an office manager until retiring in 1980. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Sue Lynn Krehbiel of Canadian, TX; two grandchildren, Stacy Conway and husband Gary of Panhandle, TX; Seth Fiel and wife Paula of Abilene, TX; four great-grandchildren, Cheston Channell and Braydon Fiel both of Abilene, TX; Will Conway and Wyatt Conway both of Panhandle, TX.
