Services for Carlton Studer Jr. 80, of Killeen, TX formerly of Canadian, TX will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Beverly Cook, officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Studer passed away Saturday, June 3, 2006 in Spearman, TX. He was born on April 2, 1926 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Carlton Studer Sr. and Mrs. Fleda Shaller Studer. He was a graduate of Canadian High School. Carlton also attended two years of college. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II as an electrician. Before retiring he worked for the City of Killeen working on traffic lights. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by one sister, Laura Louise Harris on September 16, 2001. He is survived by one sister, Johanne Blodgett and husband C. Ralph of Spearman, TX; one niece, Marilyn Cline of Spearman, TX; one nephew, Glenn Blodgett, DVM of Guthrie, TX.
