Graveside services for Mr. James “Butch” Anderson, 58, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2009 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Matt Cook, officiating and Gary McClellan and Jeff Lay, assisting. Inurnment will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Anderson passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 in Amarillo, TX. Butch was born April 28, 1951 in Dalhart, TX to Mrs. Ada Mae “Sue” Davis Anderson and the late Mr. R.L. Anderson Jr. He was a 1971 graduate of Canadian High School and then went on to attend New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, NM. He was a lifelong resident of Canadian and a member of the First Christian Church. Butch was a truck driver for 30 plus years. He is survived by one son, Reson Lee Anderson of Canadian, TX; one daughter, Tiffany Rhea of Amarillo, TX; his mother, Ada Mae “Sue” Anderson of Pampa, TX; one brother, Roy Lee Anderson and wife Barbara of Geronimo, OK; two sisters, Roberta Haines of Canadian, TX and Eva McClellan and husband Gary of Wheeler, TX and numerous nieces, nephews and family. The family will greet friends at the First Christian Church on Friday, July 17, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. The family suggests memorials be made to Don & Sybil Harrington Cancer Society, P.O.
