Services for Ella B Blum, 82, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:30 PM Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the Church of Christ in Memphis, TX with Tom Anderson, officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, TX. Mrs. Blum passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 in Memphis, TX. She was born October 27, 1926 in Lakeview, TX to the late Mr. Thomas Martin and Mrs. Artie B Stanford Martin. She attended grammar school at Webster and was a graduate of Lakeview High School. She married Jackie Lee Blum on November 31, 1944 in Memphis, TX. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1985. She was a lifelong resident of Hall County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by one son, Jimmie Blum. She is survived by one son, Jackie Blum and wife Kay of Memphis, TX; one daughter, Patricia Smith and husband David of Plano, TX; two brothers, Raymond Martin and wife Norma of Memphis, TX; Tommie Martin and wife Jerri of Lakeview, TX; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Clark of Clarendon, TX; Lee Allen Blum of Kennedy, TX; Kim Webb of Merit, TX; Dustin Blum of Memphis, TX; Dedra Smith of Plano, TX; Nathan Smith of Plano, TX and a host of nieces and nephews.
