Graveside services for Chalk Fuson, 84, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Donald Hill, officiating and Andy Taylor, assisting. Burial will follow under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Chalk passed away Friday, March 18, 2016 in Canadian, TX. Chalk was born March 6, 1932 in Dalhart, TX to the late Mr. Lloyd Fuson and Mrs. Francis (Pellegrino). He attended school in Dalhart, TX. He was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean Conflict. He moved to Canadian, TX in 1958 from Canyon, TX. He married Kathryn Brillhart on August 7, 1959 in Canyon, TX. She preceded him in death on May 19, 1999. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a member of the Canadian Masonic Lodge #855. Chalk was owner and operator for Chalk Fuson Oil Field Roustabout Services Inc. for 30 plus years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Lynn Fuson in January of 1964, one brother and two sisters. He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Valentine of Canadian, TX; Leslie Williams and husband Mike of Amarillo, TX; his brother, Lynard Fuson of Waldron, AR; his sisters, Sandra DeLano of Dalhart, TX; Ginny Folgman of Temple, TX; three grandsons, Chris Williams of Austin, TX; Hunter Williams of Lubbock, TX; Brauch Williams of Columbus, OH; four great-grandchildren The family suggests memorials to the Snack Pack 4 Kids, Canadian, TX 79014.
