Services for Billy Bob Garrison, 75, of Fort Worth, TX, will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, March 6, 2006 at Travis Baptist Church in Memphis, TX, with Rev. Gerald McGaha officiating, assisted by Rev. Rick Musick. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mr. Garrison passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2006 in Fort Worth, TX. He was born on September 14, 1930 in Lakeview, TX to the late Samuel G. Garrison and Luellar (Chandler) Garrison. He grew up in Hall County and attended school at Lakeview, TX. He married Lois Little on January 25, 1959 in Clovis, NM. In his early years, Mr. Garrison was a farmer and did mechanic work. He moved to the Metroplex in 1967. He worked as a welder for many years at Otis Engineering in Carrollton, TX. He also worked for several years as Maintenance Supervisor at Liberty Playing Cards in Arlington, TX and retired in 1992. Mr. Garrison was a faithful member of First Pentecostal Church in Hurst, TX. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lois Garrison, of Ft. Worth, TX; four sons, Gary Brown of Ft. Worth, TX; David Garrison of Grandview, TX; James Douglas Garrison of Keller, TX; and Dale Garrison of Watauga, TX; two daughters, Jenice Duvall of Watauga, TX and Cheryl Moody of Burleson, TX; one brother, Dwight Garrison of Perryton, TX; three sisters, Elba Chandler of Oklahoma City, OK; Lela Redwine of Leonard, TX; and Sherry Wagner of Fritch, TX; five grandsons; and two granddaughters.
