Pat Rogers

Memorial service for Pat Rogers, 75, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. David Williams, officiating. A private burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Pat passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 in Canadian, TX. Pat was born February 8, 1940 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Lawrence Teague and Mrs. Marcelene (Aldridge) Teague. She was a 1958 graduate of Canadian High School. She married Garlon Rogers on December 17, 1960 in Canadian. Pat was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church where she was the church treasurer for 50 years and a Sunday school teacher. Pat helped every year with the WCTU Holiday Bazaar where she was known for her dressing. She helped deliver Meals on Wheels and was a part of other activities in the community. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Darrel Stephens; her step-mother, Pearl Teague and step-father, Leon Nachlinger. She is survived by her husband Garlon Rogers of Canadian, TX; her daughters, Christy Francis and husband Scott and Deana Stephens all of Canadian, TX; her grandchildren, Travis Francis and fiancé Tessa Hayes of Canadian, TX; Lesley Garvey and husband Chad of Bushland, TX; Nic Stephens and Jamie Stephens both of Albuquerque, NM; her great-grandchildren, Jacob Garvey of Bushland, TX; Will and Jake Hayes both of Canadian, TX; her sisters, Carol Kiker and husband Richard of Allison, TX; Vivian McCraw and husband Johnny of Pampa, TX; her brother, Ken Nachlinger and wife Dreka of Katy, TX and her brother-in-law, Billy Rogers of Canadian, TX. The family suggests memorials to Locust Grove Baptist Church, 12500 FM 1920, Canadian, TX 79014 or a favorite charity.
