Services for John T. Kley, 78, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 23, 2006 at the Abundant Life Assembly of God in Canadian, TX with Rev. Justin Coleman, officiating and Rev. Jimmy Robinson, assisting. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Kley died Sunday, February 19, 2006 in Canadian, TX. He was born on June 18, 1927 in Miami, OK to the late Mr. John L. Kley and Mrs. Buleah Walker Kley. He attended schools in Miami, OK. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy serving in World War II. He married Helen Allen on February 9, 1947 in Oswego, KS. He moved to Canadian, TX in November of 1951 from Cardin, OK. He worked for the Highway Department for 10 years and the Canadian Mill. He also worked as a roustabout and for King Well Service for 12 years. He was a member of Abundant Life Assembly of God. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Rae Ann Foster, April 3, 1984. He is survived by his wife, Helen Kley of Canadian, TX; two daughters, Jane Ann Reynolds of Canadian, TX; Johnetta Rodriguez and husband Pete of Canadian, TX; two brothers, Richard Kley and wife Doris of Tulsa, OK; Bob Kley and wife Doris of Grove, OK; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
