Rilla Rhea-Dunn

Graveside services for Rilla Rhea-Dunn, 86, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery with Spencer Hanes, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Rilla passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Canadian, TX. Rilla was born October 9, 1928 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Earl Rhea Sr. and Mrs. Laura “Dora” (Klein) Rhea. She was a 1946 graduate of Canadian High School. She then went on to attend Draughon’s Business College in Wichita Falls, TX. She then moved back to Canadian and went to work for Dr. Morris. She married Earl A. Dunn on March 10, 1949 in the First United Methodist Church in Perryton, TX. He preceded her in death on November 10, 1973 in Dallas, TX. Rilla returned back to Canadian in 1974 and went to work for Dr. Rush Snyder as an office manager until his retirement. She was member of the HH Canasta Club. She was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Rhea Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Delynne Dunn of Canadian, TX; her granddaughter, Dara Dunn of Follett, TX; three great-grandchildren, Tierany Dunn, J.R. and Jasmyne Sias; one sister, Laura Lee Wilson of Canadian, TX and several nieces and nephews.
