Graveside services for Nick Falke, 85, of Canadian, TX will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2006 at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX with Rev. Donald Hill, officiating. Services are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mr. Falke died Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in Canadian, TX. Mr. Falke was born on September 18, 1920 in Jetmore, KS to the late Mr. Gus Falke and Mrs. Barbara Falke. He attended schools in Jetmore, KS. Nick was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He married Eileen Jenkins on December 26, 1950 in Garden City, KS. They moved to Canadian, TX in 1960 from Garden City, KS. He was an oil field driller, a member of the VFW and was a Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Falke of Canadian, TX; one son, Donald Roy Falke of Cimarron, KS; one daughter, Donna Falke of Garden City, KS; two brothers, Albert Falke of Hutchinson, KS; Gerald Falke of Ponca City, OK; two sisters, Rosie Nabb of Hutchinson, KS; Mary Early of Oklahoma City, OK.
