Services for Jessie Fry, 95, of Canadian, TX will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Canadian, TX with Matt Cook, officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Mrs. Fry died Sunday, February 12, 2006 in Canadian, TX. She was born on September 18, 1910 in Canadian, TX to the late Mr. Harry Stickley and Mrs. Virgie Stickley. She was a graduate of Canadian High School. She married Robert “Speck” Fry on May 22, 1928 in Canadian, TX. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1971. They owned and operated Modern Lumber Company where she was the bookkeeper. She was a life long resident of Canadian, TX. She was a member of the First Christian Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert “Bobby” Fry on August 15, 1957, one brother, Huston Stickley and one sister, Virginia Zollars. She is survived by one son, Charles Fry and wife Yvonne of Reydon, OK; one daughter-in-law, Janet Seely of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Mark Seely and wife Sara of Reston, VA; Cheri Thionnet and husband Terry of Petrolia, TX; Cathy Baker and husband Rodney of Hammon, OK; four great-grandchildren, Jeremy Thionnet of Rock Springs, WY; Tara Frost and husband Lee of Henrietta, TX; Erica Baker and Kelsey Baker both of Hammon, OK; one great-great-grandson, Blaine Frost of Henrietta, TX.
