Services for Becky Faulkner, 86, of Canadian, TX will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2015 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Ben Mathers, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Becky passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 in Canadian, TX. Becky was born August 23, 1928 in Owensville, IN to the late Mr. Frank Beckwith and Mrs. Ethel (Johnson) Beckwith. She was a 1947 graduate of Hazleton, IN. She married John Faulkner on September 24, 1949 in Henderson, KY. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1991. They moved to Canadian in 1961. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Jerry Faulkner of Amarillo, TX; two daughters, Margie Faulkner of Amarillo, TX; Janet Karr and husband Mickey of Pampa, TX; three grandchildren, Brandy Karr of Oklahoma City, OK; John Dean Karr of Weatherford, OK; Nathan Faulkner of Casper, WY; her sister-in-laws, Vera Roberts of Mena, AR; Minyon Lamar of St. Louis, MO; Rubye Smith of Princeton, IN; her nieces, Ada Slavik of Princeton, IN; Ruth Ann Nielsen of Wilmington, IL; her nephew, Bob Griffin of Illiopolis, IL. The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
