Services for Juanita Wilson, 92, of Amarillo, TX, formerly of Memphis, TX, will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 16, 2006 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Memphis, TX, with Mr. Woodrow Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Wilson passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in Amarillo, TX. She was born on August 25, 1913 in Rosebud, TX to the late Clyde Lewis and Lila Lee (McGee) Lewis. She grew up in Rosebud, and moved to Hall county in 1940. She married Daniel Wilson in 1943 in Memphis, TX. He preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Wilson was a previous member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Memphis, and worked for many years in food service. She moved to Amarillo, TX in 1990 and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters, and one grandson, Danny McFalls, Jr. She is survived by one son, Clyde Wilson of Grand Prairie, TX; one daughter, Tommie McFalls of Amarillo, TX; one step-daughter, Lula Mae Doss of Ft. Worth, TX; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
