Anna Julian

Services for Mrs. Anna Julian, 85, of Canadian, Texas, will be at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Timmons, officiating. Graveside services will be at 10:30 A.M. Monday, October 6, 2008 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Galena, KS under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, Texas. Mrs. Julian passed away Monday, September 29, 2008 in Canadian, Texas. Anna was born November 16, 1922 in Lowell, KS to the late Mr. Frank Pfetcher and Mrs. Elsie (Stout) Pfetcher. She attended schools in Lowell, KS and later attended beauty college. She married Henry “Hank” Julian on January 7, 1956. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1992. She has been a hairdresser in Canadian since 1956. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Julian. She is survived by three sons, Dale Armstrong and wife Betty Lou of Jacksonville, FL; John Julian and wife Lee Ann of Canadian, TX; Jimmy Hank Julian and wife Dot of Oklahoma; her niece, Pat Custer and family of Springfield, MO her grandchildren, Patrick, James and Brandi Armstrong, Tamera, Kimbra and Ike Julian and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to the Hemphill County Hospice, 1020 South 4th St., Canadian, TX 79014.
