Services for Minnie Pearl Doughty, 86, of Canadian, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Church of Christ with Kyle Lynch, officiating and her son-in-law, Blain Eubank, assisting. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Minnie passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 in Canadian, TX. Minnie was born October 6, 1927 in Vineyard, TX to the late Mr. Luster “Bus” Pinion and Mrs. Annie (Shook) Pinion. She attended schools in Bridgeport, TX. She moved to Canadian in 1962 from Lubbock, TX. She worked as a housekeeper and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy and Leon Pinion and one sister, JoAnn Poyner. She is survived by her son, David Westbrook Sr. and wife Sandy of Afton, OK; her daughter, Doris Eubank and husband Blain of Canadian, TX; four grandchildren, David Westbrook Jr. of Pensacola, OK; Arthur Westbrook and wife Michelle of Afton, OK; Stacey Eubank of Amarillo, TX; Mindy Eubank Carroll and husband Brent of Pampa, TX; 9 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her honorary son, Kyle Lynch and wife Dee Dee of Canadian, TX and their children, Tyler and Matthew.
