Services for Marquita Jo Medrano-Wilson, 24, of Canadian, TX will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the River Ministries Church with Donald Hill, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery in Canadian, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Marquita passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Canadian, TX. Marquita was born October 2, 1989 in Seiling, OK to Raymon Medrano and Patricia (Mann) Kester. She was a 2009 graduate of Arnett High School. Marquita moved to Canadian in 2009 from Arnett, OK. She met Elbie Wilson in June of 2009 and in December of 2009 they got married. She worked at the Cattle Exchange Restaurant as a waitress and a fulltime mother. She just recently completed her EMT Basic. She was a member of the River Ministries Church. Marquita was preceded in death by her niece, Emily Elizabeth Purcell. She is survived by her husband, Elbie Wilson of Canadian, TX; her daughters, Summar and Skylar Wilson both of Canadian, TX; her father, Raymon Medrano of Woodward, OK; her mother, Patricia Kester of Arnett, OK; her step-mother, Meme Chell Medrano of Woodward, OK; her step-father, Cliff Kester of Arnett, OK; her brother, Montana Medrano of Woodward, OK; her sister, Crystal Purcell and husband Jacob of Canadian, TX; her great-grandmother, Janet Mann of Arnett, OK; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Elbie and Diana Wilson of Canadian, TX; her sister-in-law, Alysha Wilson of Canadian, TX; her brother-in-law, Mason Wilson of Canadian, TX; her nephews, Ryan and Hudson Purcell both of Canadian, TX; the grandparents of the husband, George and Carol Ann Wilson of Canadian, TX.
