Cathryn Sessions

Services for Mrs. Cathryn Sessions, 87, of Canadian, Texas, will be at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Ben Mathers, officiating. Burial will follow in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, Texas. Mrs. Sessions passed away Thursday, August 7, 2008 in Norman, Oklahoma. Cathryn was born July 2, 1921 in Spearman, TX to the late Mr. Roy Sheets and Mrs. Ella (Spradling) Sheets. She attended a country school outside of Spearman, TX. She married Roy B. Sessions on January 31, 1938 in Canadian, TX. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1990. Cathryn owned a sewing shop in Canadian and was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lonna Kay Bridwell and one great grandson, Nicholas Ray Pettit. She is survived by one daughter, Kay Bridwell of Norman, OK; one son, Roy E. Sessions and wife Katie of Dyer, AR; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-granddchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
