Memphis, TX -- Services for Ruby Lula Reynolds, 96, of Memphis, TX, will be at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 1, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Memphis, TX, with Rev. O.K. Bowen officiating. Interment will be at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 2, 2005 in Highland Cemetery in Anna, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, TX. Mrs. Reynolds passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2005 in Childress, TX. She was born on July 03, 1909 in Bonham, TX to the late Alfred L. Springfield and Lula (McAnally) Springfield. She married Vincent Stanley Reynolds on October 8, 1928 in Dallas, TX. She worked for GTE from 1954 until 1974 as a telephone operator and in commercial accounts. She is survived by two daughters, Doris Anderson and husband, David, of Newton, IA; and Dorothy Grayson and husband, Clyde, of Newton, IA; one son, Jim Reynolds and wife, Kenda, of Ft. Worth, TX; nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 726, Memphis, TX 79245.
