Memphis, TX -- Services for Ruby Madgeline Wilson Selmon, 69, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 29, 2005 at Hughs Memorial Chapel in Memphis, TX, with Tom Posey officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Selmon passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2005 in Memphis, TX. She was born on August 29, 1936 in Memphis, TX to the late James Granville Wilson and Bertha (Pasley) Wilson. She grew up in Memphis, TX, where she attended Memphis High School. She married Willard "Bully" Selmon on March 18, 1967 in Memphis, TX. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1986. Mrs. Selmon was a member of the First Christian Church in Memphis. She was a nurse's aid, and sat with the elderly. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. She is survived by three sons, Larry Don Miller and wife, Donna, of Lake Oswego, OR; Bobby Ray Miller and wife, Maria, of Amarillo, TX; and Randy Miller and wife, Betty, of Amarillo, TX; one daughter, Cynthia Diane Heath and husband, Ed, of Amarillo, TX; one sister, Tressie McBride of Amarillo, TX; one nephew; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
