Bill D. Moore

Bill D. Moore, 77, of Canadian, TX passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008. A memorial service will be at a later time. Cremation is under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. He was born on February 17, 1931 in Amarillo, TX to the late Mr. Roy Ulric Moore and Mrs. Mable Claire (Hanson) Moore. He was a graduate of Amarillo High School. He married Evonne Bruner on October 19, 1950 in Amarillo, TX. They moved to Canadian in 1963 from Perryton, TX. Bill was a longtime rancher. He is survived by his wife; Evonne Moore of Canadian, TX; one son, William Moore and wife Janice of Canadian; two daughters, Susie Odell and husband Dwight of Boise City, OK; Linda Gift and husband Mike of Gruver, TX; one brother, Richard Moore and wife Jane of Amarillo, TX; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity or a tree planted in memory of Bill D. Moore. The family will greet friends on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 604 Locust St. from 4:00pm until 7:00pm.
