Memphis, TX – Funeral services for Bobby Booth, 69, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 14, 2013, at the Red Marble Ministries Church, 918 W. Main St. in Memphis, with the Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the personal care of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Bobby Booth was born on July 28, 1944, in Leslie, TX, to the late Bob Bluford Booth and Eula Marie (Stephens) Booth. He passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2013, in Memphis, TX. Bobby married Barbara Ann Rickman on September 15, 1962, in Memphis, Texas. He worked for Bailey Motor Company and later was the shop foreman for Ward Motor Company. He opened his own business, Booth Automotive and ran it until he retired. He was a member of Red Marble Ministries Church in Memphis. Bobby was also preceded in death by a son, Steve Booth, three grandsons, Benjamin, Jeremy & Bradon Booth, a brother, Kenneth Booth and a sister, Laverne Booth. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Booth of Memphis, two sons, Stacey Booth & special friend, Dana Sides of Memphis and Shane Booth of Memphis, two grandsons, Brian & Brady Booth, three brothers, Don Booth & wife Dorothy of Childress, Alan Booth & wife Sandra of Amarillo and Jimmy Booth & wife Ann of Memphis and a sister, Mary Middleton of Memphis. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fairview Cemetery Association.
