Estelline, TX – Funeral services for Jeff Morris, 56, of Estelline, TX, will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 5, 2013, at the First Baptist Church in Estelline, with the Rev. Anthony Knowles officiating and Mr. Nick Moore assisting. Burial will follow in Estelline Cemetery under the personal care of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Jeff Morris was born on June 9, 1957, in Memphis, TX, to Mrs. Jewel Osborn Morris and the late Mr. J.D. Morris. He passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013, in Dallas, TX. Jeff grew up in Estelline and graduated from Estelline High School in 1976. He attended the First Baptist Church in Estelline. He was a truck driver for many years and also worked for the Hall County Maintenance Department. He loved working on the heavy machinery and also loved carpentry work and fixing up houses. Jeff was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Joel Morris. He is survived by his mother, Jewel “Sis” Morris of Estelline, a brother, Mark David Morris of Estelline, a sister, Janice Richey of Estelline, his nieces and nephews, Coby Richey of Amarillo, Kayla Richey& husband Greg of Amarillo, Stacy Morris of Estelline, Will Morris & wife Tatum of Dublin and Denver Morris of Estelline and his great nieces and nephew, Madison Richey, Bailee Morris, Abby Morris, Ainslee Morris and Jack Morris. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Estelline or to Hughs Funeral Home.
