Canadian, TX – Graveside services for Sharon Riley Lusk, 72, of Canadian, TX, will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the Ellom Cemetery on the Tom Riley Ranch southeast of Canadian with the Rev. Danny Sanders officiating and the Rev. Mike Martindale assisting. Inurnment is under the personal care of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Sharon Lusk was born on September 19, 1940, in Canadian, TX, to the late Tom Chester Riley and Josephine Nell (Helton) Riley. She passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, in Amarillo, TX. Sharon grew up in Canadian and graduated from Canadian High School in 1959. She also graduated from West Texas State College. She worked as a legal secretary for Jackson & Kessie in Canadian. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Canadian. She was an avid reader, loved quilting and gardening and really enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers. She was a very loving mother and really loved her grandkids. She is survived by two sons, Bob Lusk & wife Melanie of Canadian and Steve Lusk & wife Amy of Ponca City, OK, six grandchildren, Emily, Ethan, Elise, Thomas, Sarah & Ryan, two sisters, Helen Ann Walker & husband Glen Bill of Canadian and Kathleen Martindale of Amarillo, two nieces, Leslie Martindale and Riley Rood and two nephews, Mike Martindale and Richard Barton.
