Rosary services for Eric Meraz, 3, of Stockbridge, GA will be at 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Canadian, TX. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Juan C. Barragan, Officiating. Burial will be in Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Canadian, TX. Eric passed away Thursday, March 27, 2008 in Atlanta, GA. He was born on October 7, 2004 in Atlanta, GA to Mr. Ricky Meraz and Mrs. Amanda (Medrano) Meraz. Eric is survived by his parents, Ricky and Amanda Meraz of Stockbridge, GA; his sister, Alyssa Meraz of Stockbridge, GA; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Medrano and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pilar Meraz all of Canadian, TX; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. The family suggests memorials be made to the Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, AFLAC Cancer Center or Brain Tumor Foundation, 1600 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329.
