Memphis, TX – Funeral services for Josie Morquecho Garcia, 56, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis, Texas with Father David Contreras officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery under the personal care of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Rosary services will be at 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 27, 2103 at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Josie Morquecho Garcia was born on September 27, 1956, in Fredericksburg, TX, to Adolfo Morquecho, Sr. and Augustina (Chavez) Morquecho. She passed away on Monday, February 25, 2013, in Memphis, TX. Josie was a loving and caring person. She was a wonderful mother and wife. She was a hard worker and did whatever it took to provide for her family, from working in the fields with her children at her side to caring for the elderly. She was a strong person with a big heart. Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her mother Augustina Morquecho, her son, Jesse Joe Garcia, three brothers, Adolfo Morquecho, Jr., Albert Morquecho & Frank Morquecho, two sisters, Carolina Aguilar & Gloria Torres and a nephew, Eddie Morquecho, Jr.. Josie is survived by her husband, Jesus Garcia, her father, Adolfo Morquecho, Sr., two sons, Billy Joe Ritchie of Lakeview & Michael Joe Garcia of Memphis, one daughter, Selena Marie & husband David Chavera Jr. of Memphis, one brother, Ruben Morquecho & Wife Dominga of Memphis, four sisters, Lidia Gonzalez of Lakeview, Janie Narvaez of Memphis, Mary DeLaCruz of Memphis & Linda Lopez & husband Frank of Memphis and eleven grandchildren Gabriel Ritchie, C.J. Ritchie, Madalynn & Malerie Garcia, Alec & Garren Garcia, Allyson, Audrey & Jayce Chavera and Hope & Arya Garcia.
