Services for Virginia Miller, 88, of Granbury, TX will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Memphis, TX with Keith Martin, officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Virginia passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 in Granbury, TX. Virginia was born January 2, 1925 in Lakeview, TX to the late Mr. V.G. Byars Sr. and Mrs. Marion (Badgett) Byars. She was a 1942 graduate of Lakeview High School. She married Doyle Miller on September 12, 1942 in Hollis, OK. He preceded her in death on August 6, 1972. Virginia was a homemaker and a member of the Lesley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one brother, V.G. Byars Jr. and one sister, Euna Bourland. She is survived by three sons, Doyle Allen Miller and wife Maria of Granbury, TX; Norman D. Miller and wife Sherry and Michael L. Miller and wife Karen all of Lubbock, TX; one brother, Kent Byars and wife Bobbie of Lakeview, TX; one sister, Patsy Martin of Wellington, TX; 6 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
