Lakeview, TX -- Services for Danny Wayne Wiginton, 60, of Lakeview, TX, will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 17, 2005 at Lakeview Baptist Church in Lakeview, TX, with Mr. Jackie Blum officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Lakeview, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mr. Wiginton passed away on Monday, September 12, 2005 in Amarillo, TX. He was born on February 24, 1945 in Memphis, TX to the late Mr. Lasco Wiginton and Mrs. Mildred Blanche Bailey Wiginton. He grew up in Lakeview, TX, and joined the United States Navy in 1963. He served in the Vietnam War and was discharged in 1967. He married Mary Eksyma on November 25, 1967 in Orlando, FL. Mr. Wiginton worked for Wiginton Fire and Sprinklers, and Founded RoDan Fire Sprinklers in Tampa, FL. He returned to Lakeview, TX five years ago. He was a warm and funny man, who had many friends in the Lakeview and Memphis area. He was preceded in death by his parents; and six brothers and sisters, Sybil Galazin; Jack Wiginton; Rebecca Pate; Joy Cabral; Ray Wiginton; and April Linden. He is survived by one daughter, Melissa (Wiginton) Eakin and husband Steve of San Francisco, CA; one granddaughter, Sara Scott of San Francisco, CA; his companion, Annelle Lillard of Memphis, TX; five brothers and sisters, Betty Lou Chenowith of San Antonio, TX; Bob Wiginton of Fresno, CA; Joe Wiginton of Orlando, FL; Gail Wiginton of Orlando, FL; and Peggy Sparks of Idalou, TX; and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Lakeview Cemetery Association, Rt. 1, Lakeview, TX 79239.
