Joel Morris

Services for Mr. Joel Morris, 49, of Estelline, TX will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Estelline, TX with Brother Anthony Knowles, officiating. Burial will follow in Estelline Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mr. Morris passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008 in Childress, TX. Joel was born on July 24, 1958 in Childress, TX to Mrs. Jewel Osborn Morris and the late Mr. J.D. Morris. He was a graduate of Estelline High School. He was a life long resident of Estelline, TX and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was also a farmer. He is preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Morris. He is survived one son, Joel Denver Morris of Estelline, TX; his mother, Jewel “Sis” Morris of Estelline, TX; two brothers, Jeffery Morris and Mark David Morris both of Estelline, TX; one sister, Janice Richey and James R. Collins of Estelline, TX.
