Funeral mass for Pearl Ball Browder, 86, of Giles, Texas, will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father David Contreras, officiating. Burial will follow at the Diamond Tail Ranch under the personal care of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. A rosary service will be at 5:30 P.M., Tuesday, at Hughs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Pearl Browder passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012, in Ft. Worth, Texas with her family by her side. Pearl was born on April 21, 1926, in Wellington, TX to the late Mr. Jack Ball & Nora Sanford Ball. She married David Browder, Jr. on February 2, 1960 in Amarillo, Texas, he preceded her in death on July 3, 2004. She attended Wellington schools and graduated with her class of 1943. She was a graduate of Draughn's Business College in Amarillo, Texas. Mrs. Browder retired after 30 years from Producers Grain Corporation in Amarillo as secretary to the president and general manager. She was Amarillo Secretary of the year in 1973. Pearl was a long time Donley County resident and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Memphis. She was also a member of the Red River Red Hatters of Memphis. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her sisters, Von Dell Ball of Wellington & Neeta Lewis of Dallas, and her brother, Jack Ball, Jr. of Lubbock. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Keith of Ft. Worth, a sister, Cara Beth Johnson of Fremont, Neb., a brother-in-law, Roland Lewis of Dallas, her grandsons, Kris Keith & wife Kriston of Keller and Kyle Keith of Springtown, her great grandchildren, Katherine and Kassidy Keith of Keller and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
