Memphis, TX: – Services for Jesse Joe Garcia, 30, of Memphis, TX will be at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father David Contreras, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX under the personal care of Hughs Funeral Home of Memphis, TX. Jesse passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Jesse was born on September 24, 1981, in Rio Grande City, TX to Jesus & Josie Garcia. He graduated from Memphis High School in 2000. He is survived by his parents, his siblings, Billy Ritchie of Lakeview, Mikey Garcia of Memphis, Selina & husband David Chavera, Jr. of Memphis, his children, Alec & Garren of Paducah and Hope & Arya of Memphis, his nieces & nephews, CJ Ritchie, Madalynn & Malerie Garcia, Allyson & Audrey Chavera, Jayce Chavera all of Memphis and Gabriel Ritchie of Texarkana, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Estevan Garcia, his grandmother, Augustina Morquecho, two aunts, Carolina Aguilar & Gloria Torres, three uncles, Albert, Frank & Ramon Morquecho and one cousin, Eddie Ray Morquecho, Jr. Pallbearers will be Javier Garcia, Jr., Eddie Morquecho, Lee DeLaCruz, Juan Gonzalez, Jr., Shane Booth, Randy Aguilar, Jessie Taylor, Fernando Adame and Kenny Bennett. Oh Lord, bless all those truckers who are on the road. Protect them as they haul each load. Watch over them by day and night. Keep them always in your sight. Give their tires some extra grip, so they will neither slide nor slip. Keep them alert both night and day as they travel on their way. When they rest in their lonely beds, place thoughts of home within their heads. After their run, please bring them home, let them know they are not alone. Bless all the truckers on the roads, help them as they haul each load. Then when they stand before your throne, let their log books read – The truckers home.
