Services for Mrs. Glynda Morgan, 72, of Memphis, TX will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Downey, Officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Morgan passed away Sunday, October 14, 2007 in Memphis, TX. Glynda was born on April 20, 1935 in Hall County to the late Mr. Olen Neighbors and Mrs. Una Vay Bradley Neighbors. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School. She then went on to attend Clarendon College where she received her LVN license. She was a lifelong resident of Hall County. She married D.D. Morgan on March 25, 1972 in Memphis, TX. She worked as a nurse until retiring in 1980. She was a member of Travis Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, D.D. Morgan of Memphis, TX; three sons, Ricky Spencer and wife Jeane of Borger, TX; Billy Spencer of Lewisville, TX; Douglas Morgan and wife Christina of San Angelo, TX; two daughters, Jan Genn of Alvarado, TX; Becky Gomez of Ft. Worth, TX; two brothers, Don Neighbors of Monroe, LA; Jim Neighbors of Temple, TX; two sisters, Betty Nell Thompson of Kaufman, TX; Patsy Blake of Plano, TX; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
