Memphis, TX -- Services for Eunice Floyd, 85, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at the Church of Christ in Memphis, TX, with Tom Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Floyd passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2005 in Childress, TX. She was born on September 28, 1919 in Memphis, TX to the late William Joseph Goffinett and Elizabeth (Herd) Goffinett. She married Woodrow "Tud" Floyd on November 23, 1939 in Memphis, TX, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Memphis, TX. She is survived by two sons, Dwight Floyd and Dwayne Floyd, both of Memphis, TX; two daughters, Carolyn Davis of Memphis, TX and Betty Butcher of Canyon, TX; fourteen grandchildren; and thirty-five great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to the Fairview Cemetery Association, P.O. Box 265, Memphis, TX 79245.
