Memorial Service for Tommy Tatum Jr., 51, of Memphis, TX will be at 2:00 PM Friday, September 21, 2007 at Travis Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Snider, officiating and Tom Anderson, assisting. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, September 23, 2007 at Corrigan Funeral Home in Corrigan, TX with Rev. James Cobb, officiating. Burial will be in Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, TX under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas and Corrigan Funeral Home in Corrigan, TX. Mr. Tatum passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 in Memphis, TX. Tommy was born March 3, 1956 in Lufkin, TX to Mrs. Margaret Maxey Tatum and the late Mr. Tommy Tatum Sr. He was a graduate of Diboll High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He moved to Memphis, TX in 1995 from Lufkin, TX. He married Brandi Davis on January 14, 1998 in Amarillo, TX. Tommy was a computer operator and worked for the Texas Employment Commission where he filed unemployment claims. He was also a member of the Travis Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a nephew, Joshua Paul Tatum and by a sister-in-law, Janice Tatum. He is survived by his wife, Brandi Tatum of Memphis, TX; two sons, Wariner Tatum of Memphis, TX; Benjamin Tatum of Lufkin, TX; two daughters, Rachael Havard of Lufkin, TX; Rebecca Tatum of Mansfield, TX; his mother, Margaret Tatum of Hemphill, TX; two brothers, John Paul Tatum of Center, TX; Robert Tatum of Mesquite, TX; one sister, Belinda Gay of Hemphill, TX; six grandchildren, Madaline Havard, Jaxon Havard, Kinlee Havard and Ava Havard all of Lufkin, TX; Trevor Adams and Taylor Adams both of Mansfield, TX and by his best friend, Gregg “Moon” Mullins of Lufkin, TX.
