Hattalu Yarbrough

Services for Hattalu Yarbrough, 83, of Memphis, TX, will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Church of Christ in Memphis, TX, with Tom Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas. Mrs. Yarbrough passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2005 in Memphis, TX. She was born on March 16, 1922 in Memphis, TX to the late W.D. Mabry and Hattie (Fisher) Mabry. She grew up in Memphis, TX, and graduated from Memphis High School in 1940. She married Coy Edward Yarbrough on December 19, 1940 in Childress, TX. He preceded her in death on May 2, 1992. Mrs. Yarbrough was a housewife, and enjoyed gardening and spending time working in her yard. She lived on the family farm until she moved into town in October of 2004. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Memphis, TX. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. She is survived by one son, Dean Yarbrough and his wife, Betty, of Memphis, TX; one daughter, Rita Chapman and her husband, Mike, of Ft. Worth, TX; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family requests that memorials be made to the Fairview Cemetery Association, P.O.
